Personal Injury Insurance

Attention: open in a new window. PrintE-mail

Sydney Boys High School carries a defined 24/7 injury insurance cover over all its students. There are awards for specific injuries and emergency transport costs. Note however the scheme does not cover basic medical costs if a student is covered by private medical insurance and it is not a policy to cover the gap between medical insurance claims and the fees charged by service providers.

The policy has defined events and payments. Prospective claimants need to read the policy (below) and then download a copy of the policy and / or the claim forms. Claimants are advised to consult the appropriate Deputy Principal for their year group about the process, prior to making any commitment for medical services based upon an expectation of financial assistance from the school's insurer.

The school undertakes to assist claimants with lodging paperwork in respect of claims but is not responsible for the management of those claims.

The insurance is provided by AON Risk Services.

The forms you will need to complete are:
 School Student Accident Claim Form
 Medical Practitioner's Statement

Payment Amounts

The full breakdown of payment amounts for injuries sustained under the policy are available in the following document:
