Sydney Boys High School, located in Moore Park

Set in parkland, Sydney Boys High School is located at Moore Park, just south-east of the City. The school is bounded by Moore Park itself, Anzac Parade, Sydney Girls High School and Cleveland Street.

The school's playing fields (The McKay Sports Ground) are located in Centennial Park near the Robertson Road gates, just a short walk from the school. Games are also played on the Moore Park fields immediately surrounding the school.

The school's rowing sheds (The Outterside Centre) are located at Abbotsford on Teviot Ave, at the end of the Great North Road.

Vehicular Access

Sydney Boys High School's Moore Park campus is centrally located and well serviced by road. Vehicular access is via the Cleveland Street gates between the gymnasium and tennis courts. A loop road exists for parents picking up or dropping off students.

School Special Services

Sydney Buses operates school special services in the morning and afternoon for Sydney High students. Services run from/to Bondi Junction (612), Edgecliff (613; PM only) and Mascot (708). All school buses pick up and drop off on Anzac Parade.

Public Transport

Sydney Boys High School is located on the CBD and South-Eastern Light Rail routes L2 and L3 with the Moore Park stop just across Anzac Parade from the school, accessible by pedestrian bridge. Regularly timetabled trams run every four minutes plus additional shuttle services are run between Central and Moore Park to coincide with the start and end of the school day.

Sydney Buses also operates a large number of bus routes that pass Sydney Boys High School on Anzac Parade or Cleveland Street. These include routes 339, 355, 373, 374, 396. Services operate from or via Bondi Junction, Central Railway, Circular Quay, Kingsford, Newtown and Randwick.
