Mr Keith Kent

Class of 1939

Mr Keith Kent attended High from 1936 to 1939. He has consistently contributed funds to the school through donations for our ANZAC Fund, Sir Roden Cutler VC Memorial Gates, the Student Support Fund and our Solar Panel Project. Mr Kent has also lent his support by his attendance for many years at various important school functions such as ANZAC Day Assembly and Presentation Night.

This oral history was recorded 12 May 2016. Mr Kent passed away on 28 June 2018.

 

Mr John Henry Fraser

Class of 1933

Mr John Henry Fraser attended High from 1929 to 1933. Since his time at High he has continued to contribute to the school through sponsorship of prizes at Presentation Night, sponsorship of the gardens at The Sir Roden Cutler VC Memorial Gates, support of our ANZAC fund and his attendance at various important school functions over many years.

This oral history was recorded 8 October 2015 for the occasion of Mr Fraser's 100th birthday on 24 October.

Mr Fraser passed away on 25 March 2017.

 

Mr Charles Gordon Stone

Class of 1933

Gordon Stone, for a time the oldest living Australian Wallaby and ‘Living Treasure’ of Sydney Boys High School. Mr Stone was born on 6 April 1914 and celebrated his 100th birthday in 2014.

This is an oral history recorded with Mr Stone at Sydney Boys High School on 9 May 2014.

Mr Stone passed away on 7 February 2017. The Sydney High Community would like to thank Mr Stone and his family for their participation in this Oral History.
